ReactiveX for the JVM; composable asynchronous event streams · Mobile App Development

RxJava is the JVM implementation of ReactiveX: Observable/Flowable/Single streams composed with operators and schedulers, with backpressure, widely used in Android apps (with RxAndroid for the main-thread scheduler) and Java servers. RxJava 3 is the current line; RxJava 2 is end-of-life, and new Kotlin code usually prefers coroutines and Flow. Added to a project via Gradle/Maven.
