FrontierStack Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Enfour, Inc. ("Enfour", "we", "us") handles information when you use FrontierStack for macOS, the FrontierStack app for iPhone and iPad, our website, support and online features.

1. Local network tools

The iPhone and iPad app includes a Network Check and Device Discovery tool that can be used without pairing or a desktop licence. Its local addresses, nearby-service results and host checks stay on the device and are not uploaded to Enfour. iOS asks for Local Network permission before discovery can see nearby services.

2. Licensed companion features

All monitoring and administration features in the iPhone and iPad app require pairing with a currently licensed FrontierStack desktop app. Pairing stores a device identity, signed connection information and the desktop certificate needed to authenticate that connection. Operational data such as server status, alerts, metrics and action results is exchanged with the systems you configure. Direct helper-agent connections can continue over a local network or Tailscale when the Mac is offline.

3. Notifications

If you enable notifications, Apple provides a device token and FrontierStack uses it to route the alert categories you select. Notification payloads are limited to the information needed to identify and present an event. You can change categories or disable notifications at any time in the app and in iOS Settings.

4. AI and third-party services

When you choose a cloud AI or another online integration, processed request content and related data may be sent to Enfour, its processing partners or the third-party provider you selected to provide that feature. Local AI options stay local. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. FrontierStack applies secret redaction and permission controls, but you should still review what you send.

5. Website, purchases and support

Our website uses essential operational data and one short-lived first-party locale cookie during purchase. We do not set advertising cookies. Payment providers process purchase and billing information under their own policies. If you contact support, we receive the details you choose to submit and use them to answer your request and maintain support records.

6. Retention, security and choices

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information, but no system is perfectly secure. You can unpair devices, remove direct-helper profiles, disable notifications and delete locally stored app data by deleting the app. For access, correction or deletion requests concerning information held by Enfour, contact support.

7. Contact and changes

Questions or privacy requests may be sent through FrontierStack Support. We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change; the effective date above shows the latest revision.
