Z-Wave JS UI (zwave-js-ui) is the modern Z-Wave stack; it drives a Z-Wave USB controller and exposes your devices over MQTT and a web UI, the same engine Home Assistant uses. Run via Docker. Control panel on :8091. With its MQTT gateway on (Settings ▸ MQTT, Retain on), FrontierStack reads each node's alive/dead status over MQTT in the Zigbee pane's Z-Wave section and can raise an Alert when a node goes dead.
