VergeOS on a Mac
Verge.io — integrated virtualization, storage and networking · Containers
VergeOS (Verge.io) collapses the hypervisor, software-defined storage and software-defined networking into one operating system, with nested virtual data centres as its core abstraction. Its API is at https:// over HTTPS only, and supports three auth styles: a token from POST /api/sys/tokens sent as x-yottabyte-token, an Authorization: Bearer API key, or HTTP Basic. GET /api/v4/clusters and /api/v4/nodes report cluster and node state — but note VergeOS deliberately does not publish a fixed field list: the vendor documents GET /api/v4/clusters/$table (and ?fields=most) for per-version schema introspection, because response keys vary between releases. A Prometheus exporter is also available and is often the more stable monitoring path.
Run VergeOS with FrontierStack
FrontierStack lists VergeOS in its Containers catalog. Install or connect it from one place, then monitor its status, ports and certificate, secure it with the firewall and Malware Audit, and back it up.
