NVIDIA Spectrum (Onyx) on a Mac
Mellanox/NVIDIA Spectrum Ethernet switches on Onyx; ports, power, fans, temperature · Routers & Firewalls
NVIDIA Spectrum (formerly Mellanox) Ethernet switches; SN2000/SN3000/SN4000 and the older SX series; run Onyx (MLNX-OS for Ethernet) or Cumulus Linux. On Onyx, FrontierStack uses the switch's JSON API (on by default; HTTPS must be enabled): it signs in with a monitor-capability account, sends show commands only and signs out. It reads the model, version and uptime, every port's link and speed, and the power supplies, fans and temperature sensors. Watched ports alert when the link drops; including a drop that recovered before the next check, read from the port's own link-down counter. Use a dedicated read-only account and approve the switch's self-signed certificate in the pane.
