PoE Switch (RFC 3621) on a Mac

Any managed switch that implements the standard POWER-ETHERNET-MIB (RFC 3621); which is nearly all of them: Cisco, Aruba/HPE, Netgear, TP-Link/Omada, Ubiquiti, MikroTik, D-Link, Zyxel. FrontierStack's Power over Ethernet pane reads each port's PoE state, class and priority plus the switch's total/consumed power budget, and; with a read-write SNMP community; switches ports off and on, power-cycles them, and sets port priority. That's the recovery path for the devices with no power button: a wedged access point, camera, door controller or desk phone reboots from here instead of a trip to the cabinet. Alerts fire on ports in fault state and on a switch crossing its own power-budget threshold (past which it sheds low-priority ports). Add the switch by IP in the PoE pane; reading uses the Device Discovery SNMP community.
