IONOS (formerly 1&1, then 1&1 IONOS) is one of Europe's largest web hosts: shared and managed WordPress hosting, domains, mail, VPS and dedicated servers, plus the separate IONOS Cloud (compute, managed Kubernetes, S3-compatible object storage). Domains and DNS are scriptable through the IONOS Developer API (an API key sent as X-API-Key, created in the developer portal); IONOS Cloud has its own API, ionosctl CLI and Terraform provider with Bearer tokens.
