Fly.io runs your apps as fast-booting Firecracker microVMs in regions near your users; full apps and containers (not just frontends), Fly Postgres, private WireGuard networking and scale-to-zero. A Heroku/Render-style rival that reaches into Vercel's territory for full-stack apps. Cloud-hosted; drive it with the flyctl CLI (brew install flyctl, aliased fly): fly launch scaffolds a fly.toml, fly deploy ships it, fly status/fly logs watch it. Nothing runs on this Mac; keep the API token in Keychain; the deployed app can be health-checked from the Sites pane.
