Azure CLI on a Mac

Install az, sign in and work with Microsoft Azure from here · Hosting

The Azure CLI (az) is Microsoft's command line for Azure. FrontierStack installs it with Homebrew, signs in through your browser and then uses your own login: it lists your subscriptions and VMs, starts, stops and restarts them, opens SSH to Linux VMs and adds them to Cloud Servers. Stop deallocates the VM, because a VM that is only powered off still costs compute. Service Bus monitoring reads Azure through the same login, and no Azure keys are stored in FrontierStack. The AI Administrator can use it as well: a fixed set of read-only list commands runs directly, and anything else needs your approval.

Run Azure CLI with FrontierStack

Install or connect Azure CLI; then check its status, ports and certificate from FrontierStack. The same screen links to firewall checks and backups where they apply.

Run it from your Mac.

FrontierStack installs, monitors and secures services on this Mac and on linked servers; and keeps your passwords and keys out of any AI's sight.
