NetBarrier is the firewall in Intego's Mac security suites (Mac Internet Security X9, Premium Bundle, Intego ONE); two-way application firewall with network-aware profiles (Home / Work / Public) that switch rules by location, plus inbound and outbound per-app control that macOS's built-in Application Firewall doesn't offer. Installed by the Intego installer (no Homebrew cask); its root daemon netbarrierd runs from /Library/Intego/netbarrier.bundle, which is what FrontierStack detects. Runs alongside this app's own firewall tooling (ALF and pf); if you script pf rules here, keep the rule sets from fighting each other by letting one product own outbound policy.
