Zenarmor on a Mac

Next-gen firewall / DPI layer for OPNsense & pfSense (formerly Sensei) · Security Tools

Zenarmor (formerly Sensei) adds application-level filtering to an existing firewall: deep packet inspection, app and web-category control, encrypted-traffic classification and per-user policies, installed as a plugin on OPNsense or pfSense rather than on this Mac. A free edition covers home use; paid tiers add cloud management (Zenconsole), more categories and longer reporting retention. FrontierStack watches it on the router's own pinned pane: when the plugin is present, the engine's state appears in the firewall's Security section and an Alert is raised if it stops or drops into bypass; the failure that matters most, because in bypass traffic keeps flowing *unfiltered* while the dashboard still looks alive. Its reporting database (Elasticsearch/MongoDB/SQLite) is watched the same way, since a dead database reads as "no threats" rather than "no data". That monitoring uses the router's existing API key; no Zenarmor cloud account needed.

Run Zenarmor with FrontierStack
