CrowdSec parses logs to detect malicious behaviour (brute-force, scanning, web attacks) and blocks the source IPs via 'bouncers' (firewall/nginx/Cloudflare), sharing signals across a community blocklist; a modern successor to Fail2ban. Install the agent with Homebrew (crowdsec) plus a bouncer; scenarios/collections come from the CrowdSec Hub, and the local API is managed with cscli. Managed alongside Fail2ban in the Security pane's Intrusion Prevention.
Run CrowdSec with FrontierStack
Install or connect CrowdSec; then check its status, ports and certificate from FrontierStack. The same screen links to firewall checks, Malware Audit and backups where they apply.
