GlusterFS aggregates disk across servers into a single POSIX network filesystem; bricks grouped into volumes with distribution and replication, mounted over the native FUSE client or NFS/SMB. Run glusterd on each Linux node (Gluster is Linux-centric) and create volumes with gluster volume. A simpler scale-out NAS than Ceph for file workloads.
