Dropbox is hosted cloud storage with file sync, sharing and team/Business admin. Install the desktop app (cask dropbox) to sync a local folder, or use the HTTP API v2 / rclone to move data programmatically and back it up. Connect here to watch your storage usage and plan live; read-only, using the account_info.read scope, so it never touches file contents. Dropbox retired long-lived tokens in 2021, so this signs in with OAuth (PKCE) and refreshes automatically; you supply only an App key. Business adds team and audit APIs. Note: Backup, Replay, DocSend and Capture have no public API, the Paper API is deprecated (Paper docs are now ordinary .paper files), and Dropbox Sign is a separate API with its own key.
