ClamAV scans files and mail for malware — clamscan for on-demand scans, clamd as a daemon (brew service) and freshclam for signature updates. Install with Homebrew, copy the .sample configs in etc/clamav, run freshclam, then scan: clamscan -r ~/Sites. Commonly paired with mail servers to scan attachments.
