Apache SpamAssassin on a Mac

Rule-based spam classifier (self-hosted) · Mail

Apache SpamAssassin scores mail with a large rule set plus Bayesian learning, network tests (DNSBL, Razor, Pyzor) and SPF/DKIM checks. Run spamd as a daemon (default :783) and call it from the MTA via spamc. Battle-tested; commonly fronted by amavisd or MailScanner.
