Slack on a Mac
Team chat & workflows (cloud) · Chat & Collaboration
Slack is hosted team messaging with channels, threads, huddles and a deep app/workflow ecosystem. FrontierStack can post alerts through incoming webhooks. Full Fleet also adds a beta Server Admin Agent that joins internal channels and DMs through a private Socket Mode app, uses the AI Harness for bounded investigation and typed actions, and keeps credentials, approvals and audit authority on the Mac.
Run Slack with FrontierStack
Slack is hosted, so FrontierStack does not try to install it. Connect an API token to check reachability and published status beside the services you host yourself; FrontierStack alerts you if it stops answering. Credentials stay in Keychain.
Run it from your Mac.
FrontierStack installs, monitors and secures services on this Mac and on linked servers; and keeps your passwords and keys out of any AI's sight.
