SeaweedFS is a fast, simple distributed storage system; an S3-compatible object store and a POSIX-ish filer, with replication and tiering across volumes. Install with Homebrew (the weed binary); run master/volume/filer (filer web on :8888, S3 on :8333). A lighter alternative to MinIO/Ceph for scale-out storage.
