NVIDIA Quantum (QM8700/QM9700…) and older SwitchX/Switch-IB InfiniBand switches run MLNX-OS, which has the same JSON API as Onyx. FrontierStack reads every IB port's state and rate, the embedded subnet manager (an SM that is enabled but not running raises an alert; without a running SM, ports come up as LinkUp but never Active), power supplies, fans and temperatures, with show commands only. For a whole fabric, add UFM too. Externally managed switches (no management CPU) are seen only through UFM.
