A BlueField DPU is a ConnectX NIC with its own Arm cores, running its own OS (DOCA/BFB) next to the host. Its on-card BMC speaks Redfish, which FrontierStack reads with a ReadOnly BMC account: the DPU card's health, the Arm OS state (BootProgress; running, booting, or in a crash dump), the card's temperature sensors and the firmware inventory. Temperatures alert above the BMC's own critical threshold, or the one you set. Nothing is reset or flashed.
