ntopng on a Mac

Live traffic analysis; who is talking to whom, and how much · Monitoring

ntopng is the long-standing network traffic monitor: live flows by host, protocol and application (via nDPI), historical traffic, alerts and flow-collector support for NetFlow/sFlow exported by your router. Install with Homebrew (brew install ntopng); it needs Redis running first (brew install redis); then open the web UI on :3000. Point your OPNsense/pfSense NetFlow exporter at it to see where your bandwidth actually goes, and watch the port here so an ntopng that dies stops being a silent blind spot.
