Homebridge emulates the HomeKit API so non-HomeKit smart devices appear in Apple's Home app and Siri. Its web UI (port 8581) manages plugins and accessories. Install options: via Homebrew + npm; brew install node then sudo npm install -g --unsafe-perm homebridge homebridge-config-ui-x, run with hb-service install (launchd); or Docker; docker run --net=host -v homebridge:/homebridge homebridge/homebridge; or the official macOS installer (the link). Keep it running headless via hb-service or Docker.

Run Homebridge with FrontierStack

Install or connect Homebridge; then check its status, ports and certificate from FrontierStack. The same screen links to firewall checks, Malware Audit and backups where they apply.
