Envoy Gateway is a CNCF project that turns Envoy Proxy into a simple, standards-based Kubernetes ingress/API gateway; it implements the Gateway API (Gateway, HTTPRoute, …) with sane defaults so you configure Envoy declaratively instead of by hand. Install with Helm/egctl into a cluster; the data plane is Envoy, the control plane reconciles Gateway-API resources. The upstream behind several vendor gateways.
