Dnsmasq is a small, popular combined DNS forwarder/cache, DHCP server and TFTP/PXE boot server; ideal for a LAN or router (it backs OpenWrt, Pi-hole's DHCP, libvirt). Static leases, local DNS names, and DNS overrides in one config. Install with Homebrew (dnsmasq) or your distro; DNS on :53, DHCP on UDP 67.
