NVIDIA Cumulus Linux on a Mac

Spectrum switches on Cumulus Linux 5.x; NVUE REST API · Routers & Firewalls

Cumulus Linux is NVIDIA's Debian-based network OS for Spectrum switches. Version 5.x is configured through NVUE, whose REST API listens on port 8765 (on by default from 5.6, once the default cumulus password has been changed). FrontierStack reads only the operational state: system version and uptime, every interface's link and speed, and the platform environment (power supplies, fans, temperature sensors). Use an account with the nvue-monitor role (nv set system aaa user fsmonitor role nvue-monitor). Watched ports alert when the link drops.

Install or connect NVIDIA Cumulus Linux; then check its status, ports and certificate from FrontierStack. The same screen links to firewall checks, Malware Audit and backups where they apply.

Run it from your Mac.

FrontierStack installs, monitors and secures services on this Mac and on linked servers; and keeps your passwords and keys out of any AI's sight.
