SonicWall Firewall on a Mac

SonicOS firewall & SSL VPN (TZ / NSa / NSsp / NSv); SonicOS API (commercial) · Routers & Firewalls

SonicWall's TZ, NSa, NSsp and NSv firewalls run SonicOS (Gen 6 6.5.x, Gen 7 7.x, Gen 8) and are, for most of their owners, the SSL VPN as well. FrontierStack's Edge Appliances monitor reads them through the SonicOS API with a read-only administrator: firmware version vs SonicWall PSIRT advisories (CVE-2024-40766 used by Akira and Fog ransomware, the CVE-2024-53704 SSL VPN session hijack …), end-of-support Gen 5/Gen 6 firmware, SSL VPN and HTTPS management exposed on WAN, and the MFA and credential-reset steps SonicWall requires after those bugs. Or skip the API and type the version. Web UI on :443.
