Safe Browsing is the blocklist behind Chrome, Firefox and Safari's red interstitial warnings. The administrator's use is defensive: check whether your own domain has been flagged, because a listing silently destroys your traffic and search ranking long before anyone thinks to tell you; a compromised WordPress plugin serving malware is a classic cause.
