OpenFGA (CNCF, from Auth0/Okta) is an open-source authorization system inspired by Google Zanzibar; model relationship-based access control (ReBAC) and check permissions at scale, with a decision log for audit. Run the server (brew install openfga/tap/openfga; HTTP :8080, gRPC :8081) and integrate via SDKs. Externalizes authz so it's consistent and auditable.
