Nuxt is the official meta-framework for Vue; server-side rendering, static generation, filesystem routing, auto-imports and a server/API layer (Nitro). Vue itself is a browser UI library with nothing to run server-side, so Nuxt is how you "serve a Vue app": npm create nuxt, the dev server runs on :3000, and nuxt build produces a real Node server (node .output/server/index.mjs, :3000) you host behind Apache/Nginx and monitor here. nuxt generate exports a static site any web server serves directly.
