Logstash is the L in ELK: ingest from beats/syslog/files, parse with grok filters, and ship to Elasticsearch (Search category) or elsewhere. Install via the Elastic Homebrew tap; pipelines live in etc/logstash, the monitoring API on port 9600, Beats input on 5044.

Run Logstash with FrontierStack

Install or connect Logstash; then check its status, ports and certificate from FrontierStack. The same screen links to firewall checks, Malware Audit and backups where they apply.
