The Buildkite Agent is the small, cross-platform worker that polls Buildkite for jobs and runs your pipeline steps on your own infrastructure (your code never leaves your machines). Install with Homebrew (brew install buildkite/buildkite/buildkite-agent), set your agent token, then buildkite-agent start. Pairs with the Buildkite (cloud) entry.
