Better Auth on a Mac

Framework-agnostic auth library for TypeScript apps · Customer Identity

Better Auth is an open-source, framework-agnostic authentication and authorization library for TypeScript — email/password, social sign-in, sessions, MFA (TOTP/passkeys), organizations and a plugin ecosystem, running inside your own app rather than as a separate hosted service. It owns your tables in your own database (Postgres/MySQL/SQLite via Prisma/Drizzle/Kysely); npm install better-auth and wire it into your framework's routes. There's no server to install or monitor here (it's a library in your backend) — this entry captures it for the AI Administrator and keeps any provider secrets it needs in the Keychain; the database it stores users in is monitored via that database's own pane.
