Asterisk is the foundational open-source PBX/telephony engine; SIP (chan_pjsip), dialplans, IVR, queues, voicemail and conferencing. Install with Homebrew for a local engine (asterisk -c console, config in etc/asterisk), or run a distro like FreePBX/Issabel/VitalPBX on a server. SIP signalling on 5060.
