How do I run Squid on a Mac?
Squid is a mature caching and forwarding proxy — HTTP/HTTPS/FTP caching, access-control lists, and content filtering — used as a corporate gateway or to cache and accelerate traffic. brew install squid; edit squid.conf; listens on :3128 by default.
With FrontierStack you can install or connectSquid from its Proxy Gateways catalog, then monitor its health, ports and certificate alongside the rest of your stack.
Run it all from one Mac app.
FrontierStack installs, monitors and secures the whole stack — locally and across your fleet — from a single native macOS app.
