Enfour, Inc. today released FrontierStack 1.0, a native macOS application for running and administering your own servers, devices and services; from one Mac.

Apple retired macOS Server, and the tools it wrapped are still sitting on every Mac. What disappeared was the layer that made them manageable. FrontierStack is that layer, rebuilt for how people actually run infrastructure now: a local stack, a fleet of remote machines, the devices around them, and an AI administrator that can work on all three.

What 1.0 does

Run your own stack. Apache, Nginx, PHP, MySQL and PostgreSQL on your Mac, with a New Site + DNS wizard and trusted HTTPS through mkcert or Let's Encrypt. Import existing sites from macOS Server, MAMP and XAMPP. Homebrew, language runtimes and Docker/OrbStack/Vagrant are kept healthy by a runtime self-check that offers one-click fixes.

Manage a fleet over SSH. Link remote servers and drive them from one place: packages, services, configuration files, firewalls, logs and processes. Install a sudoers grant once and routine work stops asking for a password. Device discovery covers the rest of the network; routers, printers, switches, UPS units, KVMs and IoT.

Security that reports before it breaks. The macOS Application Firewall and pf, an open-ports watch, fail2ban and CrowdSec, and a Malware Audit pane wrapping XProtect, ClamAV, YARA and VirusTotal. Early-warning alerts reach Telegram, LINE, Slack, Discord, ntfy, email or SMS; whichever you already read.

An AI administrator with guard-rails. Diagnose in plain English and have it propose or apply fixes, locally or over SSH. Use FrontierStack AI free for now, your own provider key, or a local model through Ollama or LM Studio. Secrets stay on your Mac and are redacted from anything sent to a cloud model. An MCP server lets Claude Code and other agent harnesses drive FrontierStack under the same approvals and audit trail.

The iPhone and iPad app is coming soon. Network Check and local device discovery will work without pairing. Live health, push alerts, secure shell and service controls will require QR pairing with a licensed FrontierStack desktop. The Mac app already includes the pairing support.

Availability and pricing

FrontierStack 1.0 is available today at frontierstack.app/download. It is a universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel, requires macOS 13 Ventura or later, and keeps itself up to date from here on.

Standard is ¥15,000 per year or ¥45,000 once, covering 3 Macs and 10 linked servers. A Bleeding edge subscription is ¥7,500 per year with no price rise after the first year while it stays active. Full Fleet is ¥45,000 per year and removes every limit. See pricing for the full comparison.
