Monitor Rex with FrontierStack

Rex is a terminal multiplexer from Superlogical, built on libghostty and currently in beta. One rex binary is the server and the CLI: the Mac app has a local server, and Linux and FreeBSD machines can run servers, so sessions keep running with nothing attached. FrontierStack reads each server with the rex command, on this Mac or over SSH, without starting one. It shows the sessions, the programs that report they are waiting for you, working or failed, and the CPU and memory of the coding agents running under the server. Those programs reach the Agent Activity inbox and your paired iPhone, and Rex gets tiles on the AI Agents board of the Server Activity window. FrontierStack reads session labels and the status programs report about themselves with Rex's status protocol (OSC 7501). It never reads what's on screen, and it can't type into a terminal or answer a prompt: you answer those in Rex. The pane creates and ends sessions, and runs Rex's own rex skill setup for your agents when you click it. Agents in Rex can use FrontierStack's own tools over MCP too: the pane adds FrontierStack to the Codex, Cursor and Grok configs they read, and gives you the one-line command for Claude Code. Those tools are read-only unless you allow changes. Rex is Superlogical's product, not ours: get it from superlogical.com/rex.

Run it from your Mac.

FrontierStack installs, monitors and secures services on this Mac and on linked servers; and keeps your passwords and keys out of any AI's sight.
