BAND Open API needs an app registered under My Apps on BAND Developers (client ID, client secret, redirect URI). For your own account you can simply click 'Connect BAND account' in My Apps to get an access token directly; other users go through OAuth 2.0 at auth.band.us. Tokens are very long-lived (sample expires_in 315359999 s ≈ 10 years). Responses use result_code (1 = success) rather than HTTP status.
