Hostaway is a short-term-rental PMS and channel manager for property managers on Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com; unified calendar, messaging, automations and reporting. Its REST API is at https://api.hostaway.com/v1 using OAuth2 client credentials: POST to /v1/accessTokens with your Account ID as client_id, the secret, and scope=general, then send Authorization: Bearer …. Tokens are long-lived (roughly 24 months). API access is self-serve; enable it in Dashboard ▸ Settings ▸ Hostaway API; no partner approval is required, and a generic "Hostaway Public API" option exists for software that isn't an official partner. Responses use a documented envelope (status, result, count, limit, page, totalPages), so GET /v1/listings?limit=1 is a cheap health check. Keep the client secret in Keychain.
