Blue Iris on a Mac
Powerful Windows NVR (run on a Windows host) · Cameras
Blue Iris is a powerful commercial NVR for IP cameras — recording, motion/AI detection (via CodeProject.AI / DeepStack), and a web/mobile server. It's Windows-only, so on a Mac-centric setup run it on a Windows box/VM; link that host in Fleet & Remote and reach its web server (default port 81). Cameras are added over RTSP/ONVIF (entries above).
Run Blue Iris with FrontierStack
FrontierStack lists Blue Iris in its Cameras catalog. Blue Iris runs on Windows rather than macOS, so FrontierStack manages it remotely: link the Windows host and monitor the service's status and ports from your Mac, with alerts when it stops responding.
Run it all from one Mac app.
FrontierStack installs, monitors and secures the whole stack — locally and across your fleet — from a single native macOS app.
