Pulumi defines cloud infrastructure in general-purpose languages (TypeScript, Python, Go, C#, Java) instead of a DSL — full loops, functions and packages, across the same major providers as Terraform. brew install pulumi, then pulumi up; state lives in Pulumi Cloud (free for individuals) or a self-managed backend (S3/Azure/GCS). pulumi login manages the backend.
