Kong Gateway is a high-performance API gateway — routing, auth, rate-limiting, transformations and observability via a large plugin ecosystem, configurable declaratively or through its Admin API (and a Kubernetes Ingress Controller / Gateway API). Install with Homebrew or Docker (proxy on :8000, Admin API on :8001); Konnect is the hosted control plane. Pairs with Kuma/Kong Mesh.
