The AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) defines cloud infrastructure in TypeScript, Python, Java, C# or Go using high-level constructs, then synthesizes CloudFormation templates and deploys them — cdk synth / cdk deploy. Install with npm install -g aws-cdk (the cdk CLI). Combines real programming languages with AWS's native provisioning; CDK for Terraform (cdktf) applies the same model to Terraform providers.
