FortiGate (FortiOS) is Fortinet's next-gen firewall line — policies, VPN, SD-WAN, IPS and threat protection, managed via a web UI and a full REST API (token auth) or fleet-managed by FortiManager. FrontierStack's Edge Appliances monitor reads it with a read-only API token: FortiOS version vs FortiGuard PSIRT (the SSL-VPN RCEs, FortiCloud SSO bypasses, fgfmd, the symlink persistence), end-of-life branches, admin access on WAN interfaces, private-data encryption, attacker-named admin accounts, HA and certificates. Web UI on :443.
