Seam is a single API over smart locks and access-control systems from many makers: ASSA ABLOY (Yale, August, Aperio, TESA, and the Vostio and Visionline hotel systems behind VingCard locks), Salto KS and Space, dormakaba Ambiance and Community, Schlage, igloohome, Brivo, Kisi, Latch and others. Connect the lock accounts and access systems in the Seam Console, create an API key there (Developer ▸ API Keys), and paste it here. FrontierStack lists every lock with its online state, battery and locked/unlocked state, every access system with any error Seam reports for it (a Visionline server that Seam's bridge can't reach, a Vostio site that needs setup …), and every connected account. The bell alerts when a watched lock goes offline or its battery gets low or almost dead, when an access system reports an error, or when an account loses its connection. Locks Seam can operate remotely get Lock and Unlock buttons; unlocking is confirmed, needs a real press and is recorded in the audit log. Hotel doors on Vostio or Visionline are opened with credentials (cards and mobile keys), not remote unlock, so they are monitored here rather than switched. Seam is a paid service with a free sandbox; the API key stays in the Keychain.
