Open Directory を Mac で動かすには？
Open Directory is macOS's built-in directory service — an LDAPv3 server (slapd) with Kerberos and a Password Server, used for centralized user accounts and authentication. It's not installed via Homebrew: enable and configure it with Directory Utility (or slapconfig). The value here is monitoring — FrontierStack health-checks the local LDAP service (process + port 389, LDAPS 636), and you can watch a remote Open Directory / LDAP server via the Remote Instance box below so Alerts fire if it goes down.
