Riverbed SteelHead WAN optimization — physical CX/90-series, SteelHead Virtual, Cloud and Interceptor — and the SteelCentral Controller (SCC) that manages them. FrontierStack's Edge Appliances monitor reads them read-only through the RiOS REST API with a REST access code: model, serial, RiOS version and whether the optimization service is running. Point it at the SCC and one entry lists every SteelHead the SCC manages with its health (normal / degraded / critical) and connection to the SCC, alerting when one degrades. Health and alarm OIDs for single boxes are in Devices ▸ SNMP. Management GUI/REST on :443, serial console 9600 8N1.
