SmartNetcommunity α is the business phone (ビジネスフォン) line sold and rented by NTT East and NTT West — currently αZXII typeS and typeM for small offices, typeL for up to 576 phones and αZXII Home, succeeding the αZX, αZX LIGHT and αA1 still in service in many offices. Installation, maintenance contracts and the NTT support server are handled by NTT East or West and their dealers; optional services add smartphone extensions, nuisance-call blocking and call transcription.
