Local AWS cloud emulator — develop and test against AWS APIs on your own Mac · API Testing & Synthetic Monitoring
LocalStack emulates AWS on your machine: S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, API Gateway and dozens more behind one edge gateway on :4566 — point the AWS CLI/SDKs at it (aws --endpoint-url=http://localhost:4566 …, or the bundled awslocal wrapper) and your IaC/tests run without touching a real account or bill. Run it in Docker (localstack/localstack) or via the CLI (brew install localstack/tap/localstack-cli, then localstack start). The Community edition is free and open source; Pro adds more services and a cloud UI. Pairs with FrontierStack's AWS Control panes: develop against the emulator here, deploy for real there.
