Jetpack Compose is Android's recommended UI toolkit: declarative Kotlin functions instead of XML layouts, with Material 3 components, live previews in Android Studio and interoperability with existing Views. Add it through the Compose BOM in build.gradle(.kts); it builds with the Kotlin Compose compiler plugin. JetBrains' Compose Multiplatform extends the same API to iOS, desktop and web. A project dependency, so FrontierStack treats it as a reference entry next to Gradle and the Java (JDK) pane.
