Eve (Eve Systems, formerly Elgato Eve) makes HomeKit and Matter accessories: the Eve Energy smart plug and outlet with power metering, Eve Room (indoor air quality, temperature, humidity), Eve Weather, Eve Degree, Eve Door & Window, Eve Motion, Eve Water Guard leak detection, Eve Thermo radiator valves, Eve Aqua irrigation, light switches and blinds. Most current models connect over Thread, older ones over Bluetooth. How FrontierStack reaches them. Eve offers no cloud or network API, and macOS keeps HomeKit to Apple's own apps, so FrontierStack reads Eve accessories through Home Assistant. Add them there with the HomeKit Device integration, or share them from the Eve or Home app as Matter devices (Matter multi-admin keeps them in Apple Home as well). FrontierStack then finds every Home Assistant device made by Eve and lists it with live readings: on/off and watts for Eve Energy, temperature, humidity, air quality, pressure, door, motion, water and battery for sensors. - Eve Energy → Power Control: one click adds the plug as a Home Assistant outlet, so it can be switched (with confirmation), show its watts, and power-cycle a linked server that stops responding. - Sensor alerts: one-click rules such as *above 35 °C*, *water detected*, *door opened* or *battery below 15 %* become Home Assistant entity monitors and go through Alerts. - Offline and low battery: the bell on each accessory raises an alert when it drops off the network or its battery runs low. Reading Eve devices uses Home Assistant's template API, which needs a long-lived token from an administrator account. Thread caveat: a Thread accessory has no IP address on your LAN, so Device Discovery sees only the Thread Border Router it connects through.
